Keepsake Poem
Remember to include a copy of the poem with your Keepsake Hankie Bonnet.
I’m just a little hankie
As plain as plain can be
But with a stitch or two
They made a bonnet out of me.
I’ll be worn home from the hospital
Or on the Christening day.
Then I’ll be carefully pressed
And neatly tucked away.
Every bride so we’ve been told
Must have that something old
Then what can be more natural
To unpack little me and with
A snip or two the wedding hanky I’ll be.
And if per chance it is a boy
He too someday will wed,
And he can present to his bride
The hanky once worn upon his head.
